camomile

Camomile is a low-growing herb easily confused with a daisy, except for the distinctive aroma. It blooms between May and September, with a small golden/yellow cone surrounded by white petals.

Most of the chemical components in camomile serve as antioxidants. Camomile tea has long been used to aid sleep, soothe infections (for example sore throats), lower blood pressure, ease menstrual discomfort, boost the immune system and soothe skin conditions (externally).
