Preparation of tea
Boil a cup (250ml) of water and pour over 1 teaspoon of the herb, leave to steep with a lid* for 15 minutes strain and drink 2-3 times a day. Flavour with honey, little liquorice root or stevia (the latter two available from us) if desired.
* The lid ensures that none of the goodness of the tea is lost through evaporation.
N.B. You should not use metal implements when handling and preparing (brewing, stepping and drinking) herbal teas – this includes spoons, mugs and filters. This does not apply to heating the water (and excludes boiling the roots in the water). Wooden spoon accessories are available in our shop.
