Domestic Shipping
We are shipping orders to the UK (United Kingdom), the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and other UK Islands.
International Shipping
Please contact us at shop@tntteas.com to find out about possibilities and costs for international shipping.
Import Duties and Taxes
If you order from us for delivery to an international destination, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes. These are applied when your order reaches the destination country. We recommend checking with your local customs office about their limitations and additional state taxes that may apply prior to ordering. These charges as well as all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the order is destined are the buyer’s responsibility.
Please keep in mind that some countries will not allow the import of certain products. T’n’T Teas cannot be held responsible for orders delayed, returned, or destroyed by customs. In the case a package is returned by customs to T’n’T Teas, we will be charged. These charges, together with the original shipping costs and a 10% handling fee will be deducted from any refund requested.
Shipping Time and Costs
Order Processing 1-2 business days.
For delivery of parcels up to 2kg in the UK, we use Royal Mail 48h tracked service for most orders. Larger orders are delivered with carrier services like Parcelforce or APC overnight.
Orders up to 2kg placed on a working day (weekdays, excluding bank holidays) before 1 pm will usually be packed and handed to the shipping company the same day. Orders placed after 1 pm on a working day or during non-working days will normally be packed and handed to the shipping company the following working day. Large orders will be shipped out the next working day.
Depending on the weight of your order, we may need to split the order into multiple parcels. You will receive tracking numbers for each of the parcels in your order.
Shipping Cost Calculation
The shipping costs are calculated at checkout as follows: product net weight + tare weight + shipping packaging weight.
Net weight means the weight of a product without the weight of its packaging. You see this weight when you choose the products and add them to your cart. For example, 400g of honey. The tare weight is the packaging weight, where the product is filled. For example, the glass jar weight, in which the honey is sold. The shipping packaging weight is the weight of the shipping box and wrapping materials.

Royal Mail
Most Royal Mail 48-h deliveries are delivered within 2 working days, and most Royal Mail 24-h deliveries are delivered within 1 working day, but a small percentage will take slightly longer. In extreme weather conditions please allow additional time for deliveries.
Royal Mail attempts will be made to deliver parcels Monday through Saturday. If you are not in and have not provided any special instructions (eg: safe place), Royal Mail will attempt to deliver to a neighbour (unless you have requested this practice not be used.) If they have not been delivered directly to the parcel’s named recipient, a calling card should be left with instructions. Please follow the directions on the card to further manage your delivery.
Other Carrier Services
Carriers aim to attempt delivery within two working days after receipt of the parcel. If you are not in and have not provided any special instructions (eg: safe place location), carriers will normally return the parcel to their depot to await further instruction from the recipient. If they have not been delivered directly to the parcel’s named recipient, a calling card should be left with instructions. Please follow the directions on the card to further manage your delivery.
Shipping to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and other UK Islands
We endeavour to be fair with our shipping but may have to pass on additional costs for outlying regions of the UK. If this applies to you, please get in touch with us before placing your order.
Order Tracking
When your item has been shipped from our warehouse, we will send you a tracking number via email. If you do not receive tracking information within 2 working days of placing your order or have any problems using your tracking number, please let us know.
Missed Delivery
If you happen to miss a delivery, please check the status of delivery on the carrier/Royal Mail website using your tracking number or contact the carrier/Royal Mail via the missed delivery card put through your door at the time of the failed delivery. It will provide information on how to book a new delivery or arrange to collect your parcel at a local collection point.
If your parcel has not arrived to you within a reasonable time from when it was shipped, please contact us directly via email at shop@tntteas.com. We can find out in some cases what the issue may be and inform you of what will happen next. Please be aware, though, that we are not able to contact local delivery offices or collection points on your behalf as they will not release details of your parcel to us due to Data Protection regulations.
Parcels not picked up from the sorting office
If a delivery has been attempted but nobody was available to accept the parcel, some carriers (eg: Royal Mail) will hold the parcel at the local depot awaiting collection. The carrier will hold the parcel for a specified period of time before it is returned to us. If the parcel is returned to us due to non-collection, we will offer the option to resend it. Then there will be applied a fee to cover the cost of additional handling. The handling fee is £2 + £1 for every item in the order. The additional handling costs and the shipping costs of resending the order are the responsibility of the client. To arrange the resending of a missed delivery please contact us at shop@tntteas.com.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Please check your address carefully before submitting your order. If your parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will have to charge a minimum fee of £5 for each re-delivery attempt. This is to cover the cost of handling and postage.
Late Delivery
If your order has been delivered late you may be entitled to a refund on these costs. Standard delivery services are not guaranteed services and will only be refunded if the time delay is unreasonable.
Parcel Arrives Damaged
Although we do our very best to pack every order with care, sometimes a package might get damaged during transit. If you discover your jar has been damaged, please be careful and handle it with extra care.
In this situation, you are entitled to a refund or replacement at no extra cost to you. Photographic proof of the damage must be sent to us before we are able to process your request. Please take a couple of photographs of the broken product and send them via email to shop@tntteas.com. For more detailed information please read our Refund Policy.
